The Gulf Coast Bears are presenting the 12th Annual Mr. Gulf Coast Bear Contest weekend August 17th thru 19th. This year’s theme is "Bears Gone WILD!" The event will be at B-Bob’s Downtown, 213 Conti St., Mobile, AL.
The Contest is on Saturday August 18th and is a fundraiser that benefits South Alabama CARES. The Gulf Coast Bear & Leather Association has contributed over $40,000 to local charities. Visit www.GCBLA.com for more info.
Friday Night ~ August 17th
Leather & Uniform Night! The GCBLA group will kick the weekend off Friday night around 9:00p.m. at B-Bob’s Downtown, Mobile, AL. We ask that you ALL wear leather or a uniform to the bar that night to represent the club!! This is a great time to meet and greet some of the out-of-town Men that will be here for the weekend!! Hot Men On A Hot Summer Night!!
The New Orleans Cavaliers Motorcycle Club and Mobile’s newly formed Renegades Club will be hosting fundraising efforts that night for their clubs!
There will be an impromptu Leather Contest at 11:00 p.m. for those of you that are dressed up and want to show it off on stage... Prizes will be given for: sexiest leather, leather daddy, and leather boi (most likely to get whipped)
Saturday ~ August 18th
Judges and Contestants Reception. There will be a reception from 4-7:30 pm for the judges, contestants, sponsors, GCBLA members and their guests! We will be gathering at the ‘Newly Opened’ Market @219 (next door to B-Bob’s.) The Gulf Coast Bear & Leather Association will provide the food. We ask that you bring a 6 pack of your favorite beer to share!

Dress in your favorite “Bear” attire and prepare to be entertained as HOT Burly MEN compete for the coveted title… “Mr. Gulf Coast Bear 2007!!” The contest will begin promptly at 10:00 p.m. Judges need to be at B-Bob's by 8:30 pm!! Contestants by 8:45 pm.
There will be 4 categories in the competition: Judges Interview, Bear Wear, Swimwear/Boxers and Jockstrap!! This should prove to be the “HOTTEST” Bear Contest to-date!!
This contest is a fundraising event. It costs nothing to enter the contest. The prizes for this event are: 1st Place - The honor of representing the Bear Community to the World, a fabulous trophy, $150.00 cash and gifts galore!! 2nd Place - $50.00 cash.
